How to Make Baked Lettuce

Baked Lettuce
Ingredients:
8     cups of water
4    head of romaine lettuce
5    tablespoons butter
2    cups milk
1    teaspoon cinnamon
1    cup bread crumbs
1    cup finely chopped walnut or ½ cup
¼ cup flour
½ teaspoon white pepper powder
Salt to taste
Preparations:
In a large pan bring 8-10 cups of water to boil. Cut each lettuce to a two parts vertically. Add lettuce to the boiling water for 30 seconds and drain the water. Pour cold water on the lettuce and boil again for 5 minutes more and drain. In large skillet melt butter add flour stir for 2-3 minutes then add milk very slowly and continue stirring for 5 minutes more. Now add the cinnamon, salt and white pepper.
Grease a large baking dish with butter. Arrange the lettuce in the dish then pour the sauce and add the bread crumb and walnut on top of the sauce then sprinkle with 1 teaspoon butter.
