How to Make Stuffed Sardine

Stuffed Sardine
Ingredients
800 g sardines
¼ cup rice
250 g cooked shrimps or less
3 cloves minced garlic
1 chopped parsley
2 tablespoons grated parmigiano cheese – optional
3 tablespoons olive oil
250 g arca noae or the Noah’s Ark shell
2 eggs
½ teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon peel
Salt and pepper
preparations
In a medium saucepan boil the rice in salted water for 10-13 minutes until get   little tender then drain the rice and leave it aside.
Clean and wash the sardines very good, cut the head and tail. Make slit in each sardine if it’s two small try to make it little bigger with your finger.
Use10-14 sardines. Keep the rest for stuffing.
Clean, Wash and open the arca noae shells.
Remove the meat from inside.
Cut into small pieces the remaining sardine, arca noae, shrimps, and eggs.
Stuffing
In a large bowl add the drain rice, sardine, shrimps, arca noae, eggs, garlic, parsley and salt and pepper.
Mix all ingredients together; fill each sardine with this stuffing.
Grease baking tray with oil and lay the stuffed sardine on the tray, sprinkle with olive oil.
Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Remove from oven, add lemon peel on top.

How to Make Lentil Soup

Lentil Soup

Ingredients:
4 cups water
2 cups cracked lentil
2 tablespoons rice
2 petal saffron
2 inch carrot cut into slices
1 large chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter
Salt and white pepper
Preparations:
You can cook this soup in a regular pan or a pressure pan. Wash the lentil few times to get rid of the starch, and wash the rice too in a small bowl. In a large pot put lentil, rice, water, onion, carrot, saffron and bring them to boil for 15 minutes reduce the heat to a very low check it every few minutes until tender, remove from heat. Put the soup in the blender for few seconds. Return the soup to the pan and cook for 5 minutes correct the seasoning. Transfer to serving bowl, serve hot with toasted bread.

How to Make Rice with Vegetables

Rice with Vegetables
Ingredients:
½    cup rice
¼    cup peas
¼    cup chopped artichokes heart
¼    cup chopped carrots
¼    cup grated gruyere Cheese
1     cup chopped parsley or less
1     large chopped large onion
1     tablespoon butter
2     tablespoons vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste.
Preparations:
1- In a medium skillet or saucepan put oil, onions and fry for few minutes.
2- Add all the other vegetable ingredients to the onions with salt, pepper and stir it together, and then add the rice and water cook until all the water is absorbed. Cover the pan and lower the heat leave it until done.
3- When it’s done melt the butter  add the cheese and put them on the top of the rice leave it for 2 minutes.
4- Transfer to a serving bowl.

How to Make Basmati Rice with Vermicelli

Basmati Rice with vermicelli
Ingredients:
2     cups basmati rice
4     cups of water
2     tablespoons vermicelli or very thin spaghetti cut into 2 cm
2     tablespoons vegetable oil
1     cube chicken flavoured bouillon
Salt to taste
Preparations
Wash the rice and drain to remove the excess water.
In medium saucepan add oil and vermicelli or the thin pieces of spaghetti and fry to golden brown, add the chicken bouillon and stir it together then add the rice and keep stirring for 5 seconds. Add the water and continue stirring. Let it boil until all the water been absorbed, cover the pan and reduce the heat to a very low for 10-15 minute or until the rice look done and fluffy. Remove from heat. Transfer to the serving dish.

How To Make Biryani with Potatoes

Biryani with Potatoes

Ingredients:

2   cups basmati rice
1   lb lamb meat or beef
1   big onion cut to slices
1   cup yogurt
Oil for frying
Salt and pepper to taste
4   medium potatoes
3   tablespoons butter
6   garlic cloves fresh and mashed or 1/2 teaspoon powder
1   teaspoons ground cinnamon
1   teaspoons ground cardamom
1   teaspoons turmeric powder
Water to mix

Preparations:

  • Wash rice thoroughly in a running water. Boil, and drain and set aside.
  • Mix the mashed garlic or the garlic powder, cinnamon, cardamoms, and turmeric together with little water to make a paste. Cut the meat into large pieces. Slice the onion and beat the yogurt. put the meat into a saucepan with little oil, add the spice- paste and fry them together then add the onion,  yogurt, and salt and cook until the meat is tender and the liquid  very thick.  Cut the potatoes into cubes and fry in little oil until cooked.  Set aside.
  • Now take a large cooking pot. Put in a little melted butter add the saffron, rice, meat and potatoes in a layers until all the rice and meat used up. Brush the top with melted butter. Then
  • Cover the top with foil.
  • Place the pot in a hot oven, (400 F.) degree until done serve with salad and yogurt.
